OBVERSE OF JEWEL
A silver Past Master's neck Jewel suspended from a silver plaque.
The silver plaque has the name of the Lodge "Nassau Lodge" in celtic style script, and the number of the Lodge, "LXXV", in Roman numerals.
The Compass and Square is a standard silver Past Master's Jewel with a fixed "G". The handle of the Square is engraved with four shamrocks, and both legs of the Compass have shamrocks engraved thereon.
REVERSE OF JEWEL
The reverse of the Jewel bears the inscription :
"Presented to W.Bro. J.H. Davis, W.M. 1958
by the Brethren of Nassau Lodge No. 75"

There is no record of the issue of Warrant No. 75 in the Grand Lodge Register but it probably issued either on the 26th October 1737 or 27th December 1737.
Warrant No. 75 was subsequently erased on the 5th November 1801.
Warrant No. 75 reissued to brethren in "The Shamrock Tavern, Fleet Street, DUBLIN, on the 1st September 1817, in lieu of Warrant No. 402.
Warrant No. 75 was Suspended on the 7th June 1860.

3. HISTORY OF NASSAU LODGE NO. 75
1870 - 1998
The Minutes of the Grand Lodge Board of General Purposes of 28th February 1870 refering to Warrant No. 75 show -
"28 February, 1870 – Read a Memorial from Br. Joseph Windsor P.M. of Lodge No. 245 Dublin and others praying that a new Warrant may be granted to them to hold a Lodge in Freemasons’ Hall, Dublin. Duly recommended and £7 enclosed.The Board recommend that the prayer of the Memorialists be granted, that No. of the Lodge to be hereafter fixed upon."
Warrant No. 75 Reissued to "Nassau Lodge" in Freemasons Hall, DUBLIN on the 11th March 1870.
The Grand Lodge Registers shows -
"Warrant No. 75 Dublin, 11 March, 1870. Joseph Nomfor (248); Andrew Fitzpatrick (158) and John P. Ryan registered 11 March, 1870."
A further seventeen brethren from various lodges registered 25th March 1870.
A total of 115 brethren registered up to 27th April 1900. In most cased the dates when the degrees were conferred and the issue of certificates is shown.
Three members of Nassau Lodge No. 75 served in the 1914-18 War and all returned.
The brethren of Nassau Lodge No. 75 Laboured until 23rd January 1998 as Volume two of the register of Officers shows:- "Warrant returned 23 January, 1998"
The Minutes of the General Lodge Board of General Purposes of 12th February 1998 referring to Lodge 75 show "12 Feb. 1998 – The Board noted with regret for reporting to Grand Lodge the return of Warrant No. 75 Dublin".
The Grand Lodge Minutes of 5th March 1998 show " The return of the Warrant(75). - Noted".
Warrant No. 75 Laboured on and off for some 251 Years
